About Us

Founded on February 1st, 2022, by Saffron and Eve, Children of a Revolution has a compelling origin story. Motivated by their personal journeys and a desire to heal, the founders initially shared their work in local exhibitions. It wasn't long before they recognized the potential to empower others through creativity. At COAR, we embrace the belief that creativity can be a powerful tool for processing trauma. Our focus lies in serving children, youth, and families, offering a range of events, workshops, and services tailored to support those in disadvantaged communities. Saffron came to our organisation to share her experiences and perspective on the meaning of home and becoming homeless as a young care leaver. She was amazing! A powerful message about what it means for young people pushed into the adult world without the emotional support of a caring family. Saffron’s insight has helped us as practitioners to learn valuable insights about why these vulnerable young people struggle to find a safe place they can call home.
